a-dork-named-eric asked: OOC: I hope you don't mind me asking (because I'm sure plenty of others have), but how did you make your Jake gas mask? Or did someone else make it?

It’s ok I don’t mind! :)

I made it in basically 2 parts; I disassembled a respirator mask from a hardware store (Jake’s gas mask has filters that look more like a respirator mask than an actual gasmask) I took it apart, painted the rubber base and filter cartridges, then reattached them to a basic base mask that I painted. The black eye frames are frames from a big pair of goggles that I sanded into rectangles and then put on.

I’m sorry if it sounds confusing, I hope that explains it!!
